What a perfect Easter day... (hope you are ready for some pictures!!)
Chloe let us sleep in just a little...even though we were up when she woke up. We heard her little feet pattering around the house looking for her basket from the Easter Bunny and her eggs that were hidden. Little stinker...she came into our room and we pretended to sleep...SNORING quite loudly and said "I can't find my basket."
We woke up and Chloe led me on the search for the basket. She looked in the bathtub...it wasn't there...

The Bunny forgot to put in some things that were forgotten in the closet so her basket was not quite filled with the things (she) originally intended to have in there...but Chloe got those things when we got home late last night...some outside toys. In her basket the Bunny left her the new Barbie Thumbalina Movie...and lots of candy! From Adam and I we got her a Sew your Own purse kit...she is dying to learn how to sew and knit. And then those things from IKEA that were forgotten in the closet. The bunny needs to make a to-do list and a map of what things to get and where they are.
Now on to the Easter Celebration over at the Minta's house...it was wonderful!! Chloe started off her day there by searching for a basket. After Grandpa Mark gave her a clue to where it is ("it's in the house") she started looking as far away from the basket as she could have. She eventually found it 0n a chair at the kitchen table. (: Filled with candy, a figure skater Barbie, bubbles, and A KITE. HER FIRST KITE. And what a perfect day to fly it!
After the Goode family arrived and Matthew found his basket, Matthew and Chloe began their egg hunt...for 46 eggs. It was on the chilly windy side of the house but Grandpa Mark did an Awesome job hiding them!! There were some under trees...some just set in the grass (which the kids would just run right over and right past) and some right next to the house. They found all but 3...one which Grandpa Mark pocketed later in the afternoon and two that Abi found and kept!
That's what happens when I say,"wait look at me and smile."
In the end Matthew ended up with 25 and Chloe with 18. Which is fine by me...the Goode's have more people to eat up that candy!
Oh my Goodness! I think someone might be following my footsteps to the stage!
